Funeral services for Annette Chason Andrews, 73, of Cairo, GA, are at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, November 28, 2021, at the First United Methodist Church, Cairo, GA.  Rev. Christy Bandy will officiate.  Services will conclude at the church.  Private interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Whigham, GA.  Mrs. Andrews passed away at her home on Tuesday, November 23, 2021.

Active pallbearers will be Matthew Little, Ryan Andrews, Chad Andrews, Doug Chason, Dustin Gainous and Billy Molisee.

Mrs. Andrews was born on November 12, 1948, in Cairo, GA, to the late Horace Chason and Eunice Darley Chason.  On April 13, 1991, she married Henry O. Andrews, who survives.  They were married for 30 years.    She retired from Southwestern State Hospital as a medical records coder.  She loved tending to her family, her close friends, pets, and her numerous potted plants and flowers.  Annette enjoyed family gatherings, cooking and gardening.  She was a member of the Cairo First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include: her husband, Henry Andrews of Cairo, GA; daughter, Lisa Little (Rob) of Canton, GA; step-son, Tim Andrews (Sherri) of Cairo, GA; stepson-in-law, Moufdi Louah of Alpharetta, GA; grandchildren, Alison Little of Woodstock, GA, Michelle Little of Woodstock, GA, Matthew Little (Jessica) of Canton, GA, Ryan Andrews of Cairo, GA, Chad Andrews (Tori) of Tallahassee, FL; great-grandchildren, Lucas Little of Canton, GA, Graylyn Andrews of Tallahassee, FL, Beckett Andrews of Tallahassee, FL; brothers, David Chason (Gail) of Cairo, Kenneth Chason (Sharon), Charles Chason (Kim) of Whigham, GA; sisters, Faye Hopkins (Duane), Kaye Gainey (Ray) all of Cairo, GA, Henrietta Bond (Roger) of Cairo, GA, Betty Yarbrough of Cairo, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Teri Louah.

Memorials may be made in Mrs. Andrews’ memory to: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105; or the Cairo First United Methodist Church, 318 South Broad Street, Cairo, GA 39828.

The family will receive friends at the First United Methodist Church immediately following the funeral service.
